This year we blended four different varietals consisting of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and 13% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petite Verdot from the Yakima and Columbia Valleys. You will find aromas of spices, pepper, cedar, and black currants in the nose. There is an intense taste of ripe black currants that is followed by a rich full flavor in the finish. This wine would definitely match a thick rib steak or prime rib roast.
